Our ApproacheThis is how we do
We always include the beneficiary community from the initial stage of planning so that their actual problems and viable solutions for the same are addressed in the development projects. We include the local community representatives for creating positive influence.
Our community mobilization is an attempt to bring both human and non-human resources together to undertake developmental activities in order to achieve sustainable development.
Our Capacity building training programme is an approach to development that focuses on understanding the obstacles that inhibit people from realizing their developmental goals while enhancing the abilities that will allow them to achieve measurable and sustainable results. We understand that Social capital plays an important role in encouraging solidarity in overcoming market failures through collective action and common pooling of resources. It is therefore seen as a sine qua non for promoting community participation and self-reliant development.
Our capacity building process encourages participation by all those involved. If stakeholders are involved and share ownership in the process of development they will feel more responsible for the outcome and sustainability of the development. Engaging stakeholder’s who are directly affected by the situation allows for more effective decision-making, it also makes development work more transparent.
