Livelihoods Enhancement

We facilitate the Livelihoods Enhancement of marginalized communities through increased productivity of resources and creation of backward and forward linkages in the value chain. We believe that capabilities, equity and sustainability combine in the concept of livelihoods. Capacity building of community is done through intensive on and off farm trainings and exposure tours so that they acquire new knowledge and skills. Strengthening their capabilities is a development priority as it increases the adoption of technology and multiplies livelihoods options.

Farm based livelihoods:

Improved Agriculture Inputs, adoption of package of Practices, Crop Diversification, Seed Production, Organic Agriculture, Hi-Tech Cultivation and vegetable cultivation. Horticultural WADI development, Dairy – Poultry – Goatry development, creation of milk route.

Non-Farm based livelihoods:

Non Timber Forest Produce (NTFP), Silai- Kadhai- Papad- Mungori – Stone and Terracotta artefacts, Formation and Strengthening of SHG and linkage with credit.

Skill based livelihoods:

Infrastructure, Laboratory set up and Industrial Linkages for Retail, Information Technology and Hospitality Sectors. Qualified Experienced Trainers and association with private sector for placement assistance.
