Dr. Subh Karan Singh
Dr. Singh while pursuing Engineering in Agriculture from College of Technology and Engineering, Udaipur felt the need to empower rural communities by agriculture and other livelihood sources enhancement. He realized the immense scope of integrating technology and knowledge for accelerating the growth of farmers and rural poor. Being an environmentalist he envisaged of Arpan SevaSansthan as a means of conserving natural resources and hence ensuring sustainable development of rural community.
Dr. Singh while conceptualizing and strengthening the foundation of Arpan completed Masters in Technology from ChoudharyCharan Singh Haryana Agriculture University, Hisar. He obtained doctorate degree from MaharanaPratap University of Agriculture and technology, Udaipur.
Under his aegis and leadership, Arpan has grown in from 20 to 500+ team members who are dedicated to sustainable development. The organization expanded its geographic and community outreach under his guidance and vision. With initial focus on natural resource management, agriculture enhancement, capacity building training and institutional development, Arpan later on expanded its initiatives in Livelihoods, Drinking Water Security, Sanitation, Health and Education. Now the organization stands strong with more than 6 lakh rural families. With more than 25 years of experience in designing and executing sustainable development initiatives he has been persistent to serve the rural community across nation.
Er. Rajesh Jain
Mr. Jain after completing engineering from College of Technology And Engineering, Udaipur became an integral part of Arpan SevaSansthan. With his excellent project management skills and in-depth technical understanding on Natural Resource Management he has been closely associated with the vision of Arpan. He is engaged with program teams for 20 years for bringing the desired change at ground level. He is leading and facilitating ground implementation of rural development programmes and is also responsible for overall financial management of organization as treasurer.
Er. Yashankar Shivhare
He is an Engineering Graduate with more than 22 years of experience in topographical survey works and project implementation of watershed and water resource development projects. He has fervor for ensuring quality in works and managing program teams for timely completion of roles and responsibilities with focus on key result areas and deliverables. He is also an expert in overall organizational administration.
Mrs. Monisha Sajjan
Mrs. Monisha Sajjan is a Post Graduate in Human Development & Family Studies with a zeal for inclusive development for women and children. She has more than 15 years of experience in mentoring, training and counseling young generation. She is also an expert in gender sensitization and women empowerment. She has also working as guest faculty in College of Home Science, MaharanaPratap University of Agriculture and technology, Udaipur (Raj.)
Mr. Varun Sharma
Mr. Varun Sharma is anaccomplished development professional with academic background, an Agriculture Engineer with having Bachelor’s degree on Law and Maters in Business Administration in Human Resource Development. With over 20+ years of development sector experience, including Responsible Business Behaviour, prevention and striking strategic partnerships to address occupational health issues in unorganized sector, Outreach & Advocacy, including political advocacy at the highest levels for Development interventions.
Currently he is associated with ARAVALI (Association for Rural Advancement through Voluntary Action and Local Involvement), an autonomous institution by Government of Rajasthan (India) in 1994 as Director Programmes.
He is also founder of Rajasthan state’s first multi-stakeholder forum on Natural Stone, Known as Sustainability Forum on Natural Stone (SFNS) and managing Strategic Communication with business on development issues. He is also member of Stop Child Labour India country core group for addressing child labour issues in different sectors.
Dr. Mahendra Kumar Chalka
Dr. Chalkais Director and major promoter of ChalkaAgritech Pvt. Ltd. Hailing from a family of farmers, Dr. Chalka completed his Ph.D in agricultural sciences (Agronomy) in 2003 from MaharanaPratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur and has multiple research papers, seminars and training programs to his credit, during the course of his academic and professional career.
Since 2003, Dr.Chalka is actively engaged in agribusiness sector working with reputed corporate in India as well as abroad. In India he worked with DCM Shriram consolidated Ltd (DSCL), in this tenure of more than a decade he has covered the states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh.
He moved abroad to Nigeria (West Africa) in 2013 to work with Afriventures/ KewalramChanrai (West Africa) group and was entrusted the responsibility of initiating Seed business and market development programs.
With the above eventful career endowed with academic and professional experience, he decided to take a leave from a promising career, to be an entrepreneur in the field of Agribusiness. He has created a sustainable ecosystem which benefits the farmers as well as the end customers, hence improving the societal economy as a whole.
Sh. Ramjilal Badsara
He is an agriculture expert with 20 years of extensive experience in the field of increasing productivity and livelihood enhancement of farmers through KrishiVigyan Kendra and extension education department of MaharanaPratap University of Agriculture and technology, Udaipur. He has been working on Integrated Farming System (IFS) since 2005 and has promoted multiple interventions on a single farm (crop diversification, vegetable cultivation, animal husbandry practices for dairy as well as small ruminants, poultry, horticulture and agroforestry) for reducing agricultural risk and enhancing farmer’s income. Mr. Badsara has expertise of Frontline demonstrations, crop diversification, organic agriculture, conducting research in agricultural sector.
