ARPAN's commitment to improving public health is evident through its targeted interventions addressing the health needs of vulnerable populations and advocating for health rights for all. Our efforts encompass a broad spectrum of health issues, including AIDS prevention, maternal and child health, adolescent girls' health and hygiene, and COVID-19 awareness and relief.
01. Child Immunization Coverage in Partnership with UNICEF
In collaboration with UNICEF, ArpanSevaSansthan works to enhance child immunization coverage, ensuring that every child has access to life-saving vaccines. Our programs focus on raising awareness, facilitating vaccination drives, and addressing barriers to immunization in underserved communities. By promoting timely vaccinations, we aim to protect children from preventable diseases and contribute to healthier futures. Together, we are committed to safeguarding the health of our children and strengthening community resilience.
02. Comprehensive Maternal & Child Health (MCH) and Nutrition programs
ArpanSevaSansthan plays a vital role in strengthening Maternal and Child Health (MCH) and nutrition outcomes by providing comprehensive support to Anganwadi Centres and reinforcing the delivery of all six core services under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS). The intervention focuses on creating nurturing and child-friendly environments, improving service delivery systems, and empowering families with knowledge on health, hygiene, immunization, and nutrition practices. Through immunization drives, supplementary nutritional support, and infrastructure enhancement under the NandGhar strengthening initiative, Arpan contributes to improved early childhood care, growth monitoring, and overall well-being of mothers and children. Conducting home visits to facilitate enrolment of children in NandGhars and ensure early childhood service coverage. Home visit for registration of child in NandGhar. Supporting regular Village Health, Nutrition and Child (VHNC) meetings for effective community monitoring and improved service delivery. Organizing periodic meetings with parents to strengthen awareness on child development, nutrition, hygiene, and immunization. Promoting community-led provision of hot cooked meals once a week to enhance nutritional intake and local ownership.Creating awareness through educational videos and behavior change communication (BCC) activities to promote informed health and nutrition practices.
03. Synchronizing with Digital health Mission
Arpan is providing entitlement support to De-notified Tribes (DNT) communities under the SEED scheme of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment. As part of this effort, Arpan supports eligible families in the registration and issuance of Ayushman Bharat PradhanMantri Jan ArogyaYojana (Ayushman Cards), enabling access to cashless health insurance services and digital health records. This ensures improved healthcare access, financial protection against medical expenses, and enhanced health security for DNT communities.
04. AIDS Prevention & Awareness
ArpanSevaSansthan is dedicated to combating the spread of HIV/AIDS through comprehensive prevention programs. We provide education on safe practices, conduct awareness campaigns, and offer confidential testing and counselling services. Our initiatives aim to reduce stigma and promote community involvement, ensuring that individuals have access to the resources they need. Together, we are committed to fostering a healthier future and supporting those affected by HIV/AIDS in our communities.
ARPAN has played a vital role in HIV/AIDS prevention, particularly in the Chittorgarh district. Our focused initiatives aim to promote the health of high-risk groups (HRGs) and curb the spread of HIV/AIDS. By engaging with female sex workers (FSWs) and men who have sex with men (MSM), we have contributed to improved health outcomes in the region.
05. Nutrition Camps at ArpanSevaSansthan
Promoting Sustainable, Locally-Sourced Diets At ArpanSevaSansthan, our Nutrition Camps focus on empowering communities through education on sustainable eating practices. We emphasize the importance of locally-sourced ingredients, fostering healthier lifestyles while supporting local farmers. By integrating traditional knowledge with modern nutrition science, we aim to create a holistic approach to health that benefits both individuals and the environment. Join us in cultivating a culture of sustainability and wellness.
06. Health Camps & Check-ups
We organize regular health camps in collaboration with government health facilities, which facilitate community mobilization and raise awareness about health issues. These camps support medical officers in delivering health services and play a critical role in promoting health awareness and early detection of potential health problems. Arpan is providing emergency door-to-door primary healthcare services through the Sanjeevani Van initiative in Udaipur and Jhunjhunu districts of Rajasthan.
07. COVID-19 Awareness and Relief
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ARPAN has integrated awareness and preparedness initiatives into all our projects. Through community mobilization, awareness campaigns, and vaccination programs, we have actively worked to mitigate the pandemic's impact. Our efforts include distributing essential items like dry rations, cooked meals, and sanitation kits to vulnerable families, highlighting our commitment to providing relief during challenging times.
