Dharampal Satyapal Ltd received prestigious 3rd National Water Award 2021 from Ministry of jalShakti, Govt of India in which this was a constituent project.

CREATION OF WATER ECONOMIC ZONE THROUGH WATERSHED DEVELOPMENT IN KURABAD BLOCK OF UDAIPUR DISTRICT

Creation of Water Economic Zones through Integrated Watershed Development Kurabad Watershed Kurabad Block, Udaipur (Rajasthan) aims to improve the quality of life of tribal and rural community of 14 villages of Kurabad block of Udaipur District by sustainable livelihood enhancement through Natural Resource Management. The project has been funded under CSR by Dharampal Satyapal Limited, Noida. The project is planned around the most important component i.e. water, with specific importance given to maximize conservation and harvesting through various interventions so as to improve production in agriculture and allied activities, which can yield increased productivity and help these families to sustain their livelihood. The project was initiated in June 2018 and is expected to complete in next seven years.

The major aim of the programme is to improve natural resource management particularly water and soil to increase productivity of land. Total watershed area is 4727 hectare area with 9 micros in 2 macros in Kurabad block.

Dharampal Satyapal Limited has received the 8th INDIA CSR AWARDS 2020 for the “project of water conservation interventions” in Rajasthan.

MANTHAN:-

Livelihood enhancement through diary development project is being implemented with 600 farmers/livestock rearers of 30 villages in a cluster covering Khandela, Dantaramgarh and Srimadhopur blocks of Sikar district on following objectives:

• Breed Improvement of cows and buffalo through Artificial Insemination of Indian traditional high milk yielding breeds
• Feed Management through introduction of balance animal feed and special animal feed
• Veterinary services at doorstep with the support of Animal Husbandry department
• Capacity enhancement of Farmer’s Club through FFS
