Community Based Integrated Development Project (CBIDP) is the flagship project of L&T CSR in the country. CBIDP was started in April, 2015 in Bhim block of Rajsamand district. The project aims at integrated development of Natural Resources (Water, Land, Forest, Livestock and Community) along with total sanitation, livelihood enhancement, education development, health and skill development with addressing the targeted area.

The objective of the project are as following:

  • Reduce the Water Stress on the community residing in the area
  • Land Reclamation activities (Soil Water Conservation Measures as well as Agricultural Productivity Enhancement)
  • Institutional Development and Community Mobilization
  • Skill Development of Community for Livelihood
  • Improved Agriculture, Horticulture and Livestock Interventions for Livelihood Enhancement
  • 100% Drinking Water Security
  • 100% Sanitation (ODF status)
  • Providing quality education through capacity building of teachers and school management committee, better infrastructure development and building enabling environment (Knowledge Parter: Save the Children)
