Holistic Village Development Project

The Holistic Village Development Project in two Gram Panchayats in Bassi Block of Jaipur district, Rajasthan," is a CSR initiative by BOSCH India Foundation. The project is being implemented in 9 villages, covering a total geographical area of 3018.75 hectares, and benefiting 1780 families since July 2019.

The primary objectives of the project are as follows

Promotion of Natural Farming: The project aims to encourage and promote natural farming practices in the region, promoting sustainable and eco-friendly agricultural techniques.

Promotion of Horticulture: As an additional source of income for small and marginalized farmers, the project emphasizes the promotion of horticulture-based activities.

Skill Improvement of Farmers: The project seeks to enhance the skills of farmers in the areas of natural farming and horticulture, enabling them to adopt modern and sustainable agricultural practices.

Livestock Health Improvement: Through proper vaccination and healthcare initiatives, the project aims to improve the health and well-being of livestock in the villages.

Promotion of Bio-gas: The project advocates the adoption of bio-gas as a renewable and sustainable energy source among rural families, promoting a cleaner and greener environment.

By focusing on these objectives, the BOSCH India Foundation CSR Project aims to contribute to the overall development and well-being of the rural communities in the Bassi Block of Jaipur district.
