The "Integrated Model of Sustainable Heena Cultivation" project is currently being implemented in Dhakri village, located in Sojat block of Pali District, Rajasthan. The project receives funding from Loreal and is supported by Ask India as a knowledge partner.
The primary objective of the project is to enhance the quality and quantity of Henna production, resulting in increased income for Henna farmers.
The project aims to provide small and marginal farmers, as well as women farm workers, with access to an additional source of income through sustainable Henna cultivation.
By supporting Henna farmers and farm workers, the project seeks to improve their access to social security schemes and enhance their access to healthcare services.
The project strives to create an environment where children are free from work in Henna farms and have access to quality education, promoting their overall well-being and development.
The project aims to ensure that farm workers enjoy decent and safe working conditions while receiving equal wages in Henna farms, promoting fair and equitable practices.
Through these objectives, the "Integrated model of Sustainable Heena cultivation" project endeavors to uplift the livelihoods of Henna farmers, empower women, improve social security, and create a conducive environment for the holistic development of children, thereby benefiting the community as a whole.
